On parle d'un article d'une publication "affiliée" au Racing, pas un journal aussi "pro" que L'Equipe (avec leurs qualités et leurs défauts, les interviews sont en général fidèles aux propos tenus).

I dont know why you think the journalist are lying. He said that. Actually he said that a year ago in an interview (and I wrote it here) so this is no surprise. There's nothing new.

Now, if you think that those offers of Tottenham and so on didnt exist, that's different. But he thinks that and there's no doubt about it.

Licha gave an interview about his career and I translated u the part of Lyon

- A spectacular city, I came there with 4 years of experience of Porto, I was more mature. I came with my place to take care of it, not to win it. First year semis of champions. Second year 2nd place of Ligue and max scorer. I really enjoyed it. The affection and the respect of the people of OL Lyon to me was extraordinary. I lived there 4 years and always expected to be many more, but some stuff happened but... An extraordinary club.

- Did you like France?

- I loved it

- I mean, Lyon isn't Paris, you can't live in Paris...

- Totally, it's so peacefull. So much nature, those two rivers crossing the city... I fished a lot, I lived really really well there and... Cause a few differences with the coach and my stubborn I leaved but my intention was to live many years there.

- But what happened?

- After 3 years I made almost 80 goals and the coach decided to put me as left middlecenter cause "the balance of the team" of that time. I prefered to go to alternate (don't play and play in the second half, I dont know what's the English word) but I wanted to play in my possition after 3 years of doing it well.

- But who was the guy who will play in the attack instead u?

- I don't know, actually I didnt ask for explanation to him. I accepted what he asked. He gave me the captain tape but I returned it in the next 6 months and 6 months later I leaved the club.

- But why to Dubai?

- In the half of the last year in Lyon I had offers of Juve and Tottenham but the President closed the door. I was very frustrated, I didnt want to stay in Europe anymore. The first option was Argentina, but Lyon ask a lot of money. I didn't get a place in Brazil, and the Qatar's club were insisting a lot of time, so I thought "I dont know how's Qatar, but I don't want to be in Europe anymore". Lyon offered me 3 years so actually it was a better contract. I leaved cause the frustration was very big and I didnt want to stay in the environment.

Es claro que tenemos jugadores fantasticos cada temporada, gracias a nuestra academia, pero tambien porque fichamos bien con Flo Maurice. Pero, conseguimos con entrenadores que no tienen tan calificaciones que la plantilla.

2) As I said, ONE YEAR AGO he made an interview FOR TV and said EXACTLY the same and I translated here word by word. Didnt miss a thing (and by the way it was a TV show of interviews, nothing "pro Racing")

Je ne dis pas que ce que dit Licha est vrai, il a peut-être été berné... Mais rien ne me semble irréel. On comprend aujourd'hui pourquoi il ne voulait plus du brassard, et ce n'est pas sorti à l'époque. Rémi Garde en avait des couleuvres quand même, parce que je suis convaincu qu'il a subi cette situation.
